Report from Alan Mills - 9th March 2009

The 10 members of the group have completed the survey and recording of Kitley Cottage, Arkengarthdale, and are working on four projects currently.
These are:
1. The Green, Reeth; the surveying and recording work is virtually complete and the focus is now on documentary evidence at NYCRO.
2. The development of a small brochure, with a draft title “ A guided walk around Langthwaite & Arkle Town” identifying buildings of interest and describing the development of the settlements and their buildings.
3. Metcalfe’s farm, Reeth; an initial survey was carried out last Saturday.
4. Barn survey with the National Park.
